Victims of Bernie Madoff's ponzi scheme are getting some compensation.The trustee overseeing the liquidation of Madoff's assets says more than five-hundred-thirty million of the twenty-one-point-two billion in losses has been paid so far to victims.The money being paid to the victims comes from the securities investor protection corporation, created by congress and funded by the securities industry.Madoff is serving a one-hundred-fifty year prison sentence.
