The unbeaten Mankato West football team will look to keep their perfect season going Friday night when they take on Hutchinson in the Section 2 Class 4A Finals.The Scarlets defeated Waconia 40 to 18 while the Tigers topped Willmar 48 to 14 to advance to their finals showdown.The same two squads met last year in the title game with West winning 28 to 13.Head coach Mark Esch says Hutchinson presents significant challenges for his Scarlets to overcome.The players are glad the game is in Mankato Friday, allowing their crazy fans to come support them in full force.They say they match up well with Hutch and are sticking to their game at a time mentality...It should be quite show...The Scarlets and Tigers kick off at 7 o'clock Friday night at Todnem Field in Mankato.
