Three North Dakota college softball players are found drowned in their vehicle. No foul play is suspected.Authorities believe the young women accidentally drove into a pond in the darkness.Investigators say 22 year old Kyrstin Gemar, 20 year old Afton Williamson, and 21 year old Ashley Neufeld accidentally drove into the pond while they were out stargazing on private property.Clarence Tuhy, Stark County Sheriff says, ""the vehicle was pulled out. The doors were closed, the windows were closed. And we don't know if there was any attempt to get out.The bodies of the three along with a pet dog were found inside a jeep resting on its wheels in ten feet of water.Signals from desperate cell phone calls to friends led police to them.Authorities say it's unclear if the women could have been saved had they called 9-1-1 instead of their friends. There's no indication they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol.Autopsy results are expected within two weeks.
