The World Series Champion New York Yankees took their title celebration to the streets today to share their pennant with hundreds of thousands of fans.The Yankees championship parade ran through the Canyon of Heroes in front of droves of screaming pinstriped fans.The ticker tape flew for the 27th time in the franchise's history.The parade came to an end at New York's city hall where current Mayor Michael Bloomberg Awarded the team the Keys to the City.The Yanks spoke to the crowd about winning their first World Series Crown in 9 years.
