We're learning more about the *suspected* shooter as the investigation begins.Fox's Jennifer Davis has more from fort hood.Fort Hood is in mourning, security is heightened, and investigators are now trying to figure out how and why this murderous rampage happened.A disturbing picture is emerging of the accused shooter - thirty nine year old nadil malik hasan.Hasan remains in the hospital... Surrounded by police.A fellow officer says hasan fought his deployment orders to iraq ... And argued with soldiers who supported the two ongoing u.s. Wars.Investigators say his name appears on radical internet postings comparing suicide bombers to soldiers jumping on grenades to save the comrades.But so far, no word on *exactly* what sparked the shooting spree.Braverman says: "the focus today is on soldiers continuing to require medical care."The base commander also says there are firsthand accounts of soldiers who say the suspected gunman shouted *allah akbar* ...which translates to "god is the greatest."It will likely take people at fort hood awhile to get over this tragedy.Alamo says: "I can't believe something like this would happen especially back here when were home, you know. Things like that aren't supposed to happen."Hasan lived outside Washington D.C for awhile and worked at Walter Reed Hospital.One neighbor describes him as a quiet guy.Konstanaoupolus says: "and you see the photo on TV it's very shocking."The head of homeland security and president Obama say this way a horrific act of violence.Napolitano says: "even harder to bear because it happened to soldiers on our own soil.Obama says "..What we do know is that there are families, friends, and an entire nation grieving right now for the valiant men and women who came under attack yesterday, in one of the worst mass shootings ever to take place on an American military base."Hasan's relatives have released a statement saying they are filled with grief for the victim's families and saddened by the terrible events of fort hood.In fort hood, Texas, Jennifer Davis.
