There's been some talk in recent weeks about a contract extension possibly in the works for Vikings head coach Brad Childress.Apparently it's a bit more than that now as Childress mentioned after practice today their was a documet on his desk he intended to look over.No deal is official but the extension is expected to keep childress with the club through the 2013 season.Hic current deal runs through 2010.The Vikings were 6-10 in their firs season under Childress but then improved to 8-8 and then 10-6 with an NFC north title last season.The Vikes are 8-1 this season,2nd only to unbeaten New Orleans in the NFC.They have been made an 11 point favorite over Seattle in Sundays 12-noon game at the metrodome.
