It may be the next best thing to seeing Garrison Keillor's ``a prairie home companion'' live.A special performance of Keillor's radio variety show will be beamed live in high-definition to more than 500 movie theaters across the U.S. and Canada on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.The show will originate from St. Paul's Fitzgerald Theater.The cinecast (sin-eh-kast) will be identical to a regular``prairie home'' broadcast.Keillor will deliver his news from Lake Wobegon, and the guy's all-star shoe band will be on hand. Musical guests will be announced later.Tickets for the cinecast go on sale Dec. 11.
