Good evening, I'm Dion Cheney.And I'm Nicole Winters, thanks forWith flood concerns lingering over much of the state...Governor Tim Pawlenty today declares a state of emergency for many of our area counties.On the list are Blue Earth, Brown, Le Sueur, Lyon, Nicollet, Redwood, Renville, and Sibley counties.The Governor is activating the Minnesota National Guard to assist in flood preparations and to provide emergency relief services.The order also directs the Department Of Public Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management to activate Minnesota's emergency operations plan.
