Another twist in the battle over health care reform legislation.The house is considering a tactic to protect members who are reluctant to support the measure publicly.The potential process has escalated the already tense battle over reform as the house nears a vote.Fox news correspondent Craig Boswell reports from Washington.As republicans and health care opponents rallied against the legislation on capitol hill-- a fierce war of words erupted over the process of passing health care reform.house speaker nancy pelosi is considering a legislative tactic which would allow democrats to push reform through the house without a direct vote.Pelosi says: "We will do what is necessary to pass a health care bill."Democratic leaders say the self-executing rule allows members to vote in favor of the reconciliation package which includes the changes house democrats want.Clyburn says: "What we are deeming passed is the Senate Bill and we are voting in the rule for these corrections."Republicans are outraged.BOEHNER says: "Anybody who thinks they can sneak this bill through, deem it, all these other tricks, there's no way to hide from the biggest vote that most members of Congress will ever cast."Gop leaders are demanding a direct vote in the house.PENCE says: "I don't think anybody thinks there's ever been an instance where major social policy has been passed out of house of representatives without anybody voting for it."BOSWELL says: (on cam tag) "Democrats need 216 votes-- many counts show they are about five votes short.
