This hot weather is making for some brutal fishing and living conditions but if you get there early enough or just at the right time the big ones are biting in our area.This week's Bobber Shop Saturday stringer winner found the right time much to the envy of his brother who lent him the gear.Doug Miller of Saint Clair was fishing with his brother Andy who had just gotten off Guard Duty.Andy showed up with no equipment so Doug lent him a rod, reel and a Mepps Lure.The two started casting off the dock at Madison Lake when Andy's borrowed gear got a bite, this 38 and half inch 13 plus pound Northern Pike.In competitive nature Doug says go Figure.Congrats to Andy our Saturday Stringer winner for this week.Please continue to submit your photos on our website.Be sure to include as much information as possible and maybe you too will be featured with you monster of the deep on a Saturday reel soon.We'll be right back.
